Hardscape Analysis / Ground Radar
Over the years, there have been many discussions about how the area (tennis/basketball surface) should be fixed and renovated moving forward.
To ensure future decisions were based on a knowledge of the structural components of the ground below the surface, the Board moved to have the hardscape non-invasively surveyed for subsurface voids with a ground penetration radar.
After gaining several quotes and choosing the most cost effective as well as best rated option, we hired a firm called GPRS. On March 4th this process was conducted by them. You may view the full report of their findings for Silver Valley here.
GPRS has offered to review these findings with our neighborhood and answer any questions members may have about the structure underneath the surface of the hardscape. At some point in the near-future, a special meeting will be called to review these findings.
At this meeting, we will be asking for a volunteer committee. This committee will be charged with researching options for the hardscape area and future best steps.
